Man accidentally shoots girlfriend in ear

A 17-year-old Port Arthur man toying with a new gun accidentally fired a shot that grazed his 16-year-old girlfriend’s ear Friday morning.
The incident occurred about 10 a.m. Oct. 30 at Sunset Way Apartments, 3280 Central Mall Blvd.
Port Arthur Police Maj. Raymond Clark said the female was treated at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas.
No charges will be filed in the incident.
