WEDDINGS
Woodall - Baxter
Bailey Brianne Woodall and Allen Cole Baxter were united in marriage on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at seven o’clock in the evening at Southside Baptist Church in Port Neches, Texas. The ceremony was officiated by the Reverend Milton Woodall, uncle of the bride. Music for the ceremony was provided by pianist Renee Kloes. Soloists were Ethan Bailey, Caleb Cowart, Brady Flores, and Sara Hicks. Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at the John and Mary Gray Library on the Lamar University campus.
Bailey is the daughter of Terry and Connie Woodall of Port Neches. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Martha Bailey and the late Harold Bailey and the late Morris and Jean Woodall. Bailey graduated from Port Neches - Groves High School and Lamar University. She is a second grade teacher at Woodcrest Elementary in Port Neches.
Allen is the son of Scott and Nancy Baxter of Groves and Leo and Kathy Rivera of Irvine, California. He is the grandson of Mrs. Jo Baxter and the late Tom Baxter and Mrs. Pat Jones and the late Allen Jones. Allen graduated from Port Neches - Groves High School and attends Lamar University. He is employed with the Golden Triangle Federal Credit Union in Groves.
Teryn Woodall, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Chelsea Forse, cousin of the bride and Amanda Hanks, Jackie Odneal, Ashley Peltier, and Katie Trahan, friends of the bride. Flower girls were Ashlyn Broussard and Libby Lejeune. Brett Babin, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Justin and Thomas Baxter, brothers of the groom, and Garrett Gibbs, Jared Martinez, and Corey Wyble, friends of the groom. Ring bearers were Braden Broussard and Logan Lejeune. Seating the guests were Brian Mills and Paden Peek, cousins of the bride, and Randy Wofford and Joe Wolfe, friends of the groom. Following a honeymoon to Jamaica, the couple will reside in Port Neches, Texas.

Savoy-Bradshaw
Mr. and Mrs. Stephen B. Savoy of Groves announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Blair Savoy to Jeremy Allen Bradshaw, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Bradshaw of Houston.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Port Neches- Groves High School and graduated from Johnson & Wales University; she holds an A.A.S. in Pastry Arts and a B.S. in Food Service Management. She is employed by Rao’s Bakery.
The prospective groom is a 2000 graduate of Houston Baptist University; he holds a B.A. in Communication and Theology, and is attending Southwestern Seminary in Houston to attain a Master of Divinity. He serves as Minister of Students at First Baptist Church of Groves.
The couple plan to marry at 4 pm on January 13, 2007 at First Baptist Church of Groves.
Caldwell - Aviki
Angie Caldwell, daughter of Gene and Cindy Caldwell and Kenny and Diane Balusek, and Diaco Aviki, son of Sandra Solaiman and Fred Aviki, were married September 16, 2006 at Providence Baptist Church in Chappell Hill, Tx.
Angie graduated from Nederland High School in 1995 and then from Lamar University and Texas State University with a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy. Diaco graduated from Auburn University and University of Texas in Austin with an MBA in Finance.
The couple now resides in London, England where Diaco works for ExxonMobil.

Floyd and Lois Badeaux of Port Arthur celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on December 7.
Lois and Floyd Badeaux were married on December 7, 1956, at St. Mary Church in Port Arthur.
Their children are: The Rev. Kevin Badeaux of Groves, Corliss Badeaux of Lake Charles, La., Bonnie Gilchrist of College Station, the late Shannon Rider, the late Galen Badeaux, Doreen Badeaux of Port Arthur and Jeannie Seligman of Houston. The couple also has eleven grandchildren.
