Severe weather possible over weekend

A cold front is expected to move through the area over the weekend, bring with it the chance for severe weather.
Roger Erickson, warning coordination meteorologist with the National Weather Service-Lake Charles, said the front will bring a double weather threat.

Mr. and Mrs. Elry Vidrine

Elry and Alice Vidrine of Springfield, Arkansas will celebrated their 50th anniversary with a reception at Springfield, Arkansas. The celebration was hosted by their children.

Alice Marie Hebert and Joseph Elry Vidrine were married on Feb. 23, 1957, in Port Arthur, Texas. Both are members of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Elry and Alice have three children: Debra Dunn of Morrilton, Arkansas; Lena Johnston of Winter Park, Florida and Suzanne Turner of Galena, Mo. The couple also has 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
