L.J. “Pop” and Janette Broussard of Nederland, celebrated their 50th anniversary with a family trip to the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and Southern California.
Janette Hudson and L.P. Broussard were married on Aug. 10, 1957, at St. Charles Catholic Church in Nederland. L.J. retired as an administrator from Nederland I.S.D. and Janette was a registered medical technologist with Doctors Moore, Richardson and Reinstra in Nederland and retired as a Health Occupation teacher with Port Arthur I.S.D.
L.J. and Janette have a daughter, Dr. Jamie and son-in-law Ronnie Packman of Nederland. The couple has two grandchildren.
