The Annual Christmas Tree Lighting will be Friday, Nov. 30 at 5:30 p.m. in Celebration Park in Groves. The Groves Chamber of Commerce and Tourist Center, GBC and some of the Groves merchants have organized an event to be held following the tree lighting ceremony called An Old Fashioned Christmas in Groves. The event begins at 6:15 p.m. in downtown Groves and will feature stage entertainment, a live nativity by Immaculate Conception Church, North Police activities for the kids, visit by Santa, community candle lighting and Christmas carols, food and more.
