Port Arthur ISD coach is on paid administrative leave pending an investigation into accusations of an improper teacher-student relationship.
PAISD Deputy Superintendent Mark Porterie said the district police department is working with Port Arthur Police Department with the investigation and PAISD has been in contact with the parent of the child. The age of the alleged victim cannot be released because the person is a juvenile.
Port Arthur Police Lt. Troy Lebouef said the department is interviewing the alleged victim and will interview the alleged suspect.
Lebouef said no charges have been filed at this time.
