No injuries reported in gas station robbery

PORT ARTHUR — The Fisco convenience store in Port Arthur was robbed Wednesday morning at gunpoint.

Port Arthur police responded to the store, located at 2539 Jefferson Drive, at approximately 8:49 a.m. after receiving a call regarding a robbery.

Upon their arrival police learned that two men entered the store wearing masks and hooded sweatshirts, one of the men was armed with a handgun, according to a press release from PAPD.

The suspects obtained an undetermined amount of money and fled the location on foot. No injuries were reported and the incident remains under investigation by the PAPD.
