Armed man robs PA business

PORT ARTHUR — A man looking for more than a hair cut and pedicure robbed Cutie’s Nail and Hair Thursday afternoon.

At approximately 7 p.m. Port Arthur police responded to a call that a business had just been robbed. Officers arriving on scene were told that a man with a gun came into the business with a bandana covering his face and demanded money from a customer. The customer wasn’t able to provide any money, the suspect then demanded money from the owner of the business. She gave him money, pleading for him not to hurt anyone. Once the suspect took the money bag, he then left throught the back door and fled on foot.

Officers received a description of the suspect and searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Evidence was recovered at the scene and the incident is being investigated by the PAPD.
