PORT ARTHUR —
A store clerk in Port Arthur is shaken up but uninjured following a robbery where the assailant wielded a shotgun.
Port Arthur police were called to West Side Grocery in the 1200 block of Seventh Street at approximately 10:05 p.m. Wednesday, June 11 in reference to an aggravated robbery.
On arrival, officers were told that a man entered the store with a shotgun and demanded money. The suspect then forced the clerk to the ground and took a bank bag with an unspecified amount of money. None of the customers in the store or the clerk were injured. Anyone with information on this crime is asked to contact the PAPD at 983-860.
