The Better Business Bureau that serves the eight-counties and the Bolivar Peninsula of Southeast Texas has announced the officers of its Board of Directors for 2009.
They include Board Chairperson Ann Scoggin, Owner of Coldwell Banker Southern Homes; Vice-Chairperson, Ron Wheeler, General Manager of Southern Lawn & Landscapes; Chairperson-Elect for 2010, George Crawford, General Manager of Lamar Advertising; Treasurer, Dan Bell, VP/Senior Branch Manager with MCT Credit Union; Secretary, Shawn Handley, VP/Marketing for Howell Furniture Galleries; and past Board Chairperson, Mike Sculley, Sales Manager at Kirksey’s Sprint Printing.
Twenty-five other prominent business leaders in the region including Alfred Anderson, Slate Babineaux, Tim Baker, Robert Bertrand, Vesta Brandt, Jim Broussard, Barry Bryant, Corinne Creason, Rey de la Fuente, Jed Dollinger, Robert Edgar, Mike Elrod, Bill Hecht, and Gisela Houseman.
Also on the BBB Board are Steve McGrade, Ron Reed, Mark Russo, E.J. Sherlock, Gail Shook, Paul Skinner, Tim Sudela, John Thomasson, Bo Weinbaum, and R.O. Williams, Jr. Joe Broussard, Attorney with Mehaffy & Weber, serves as Legal Counsel.
Serving on the 2009 Executive Committee will be Bell, Bryant, Crawford, Dollinger, Hecht, Handley, Scoggin, Sculley, Skinner, Wheeler and Williams.
