Groves Police responded to the following calls from April 20 to April 26
Wednesday, April 20
• A Colt pistol and a carton of cigarettes were stolen from a vehicle in the 4500 block of Gulf.
• Two men and a woman were seen running from a residence in the 1900 block of Owens carrying a television. They entered a small green passenger car with chrome fender skirts and fled the scene.
• A vehicle was entered, but nothing appeared to be missing in the 6600 block of Jefferson.
• A 19-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 4400 block of Pure Atlantic Road.
• A disturbance was reported in the 6300 block of Verde.
Thursday, April 21
• A 36-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 6300 block of Plaza.
• A 24-year-old male was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon in the 6800 block of 25th Street.
• A male was arrested for public intoxication in the 6800 block of 32nd Street.
• A vehicle parked in the 6800 block of Whitby was struck by a vehicle that left the scene.
• A 31-year-old female was arrested for dog at large in the 6400 block of Howe.
• A 42-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 3200 block of Walnut.
Friday, April 22
• A report of dog at large was made in the 2300 block of Friar Tuck.
• A window was broken on a house in the 2600 block of Boyd.
• A black Ipod was stolen from a vehicle in the 4500 block of Roosevelt.
• A 20-year-old male was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia in the 4700 block of Gulf.
Saturday, April 23
• A 51-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 3800 block of Main.
• Theft of gasoline was reported in the 5400 block of West Parkway by a white male driving a red Chevrolet truck.
• A disturbance was reported in the 3800 block of Grant.
• Several music CD’s were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 4500 block of Wilson.
• Two vehicles parked in the 4600 block of Wilson were entered without permission. A Tom Tom GPS and a radar detector were stolen.
• A 32-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 3600 block of Cleveland.
Sunday, April 24
• A 37-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding warrant after officers were called to a disturbance in the 3100 block of Main.
• A shoplifting incident was reported in the 4500 block of Twin City Highway.
• The concession stand of the ball park in the 5800 block of West Washington was burglarized. Various chips, candy and sodas were stolen.
• A Smith and Wesson .40 caliber pistol was stolen from the 6400 block of Hansen.
Monday, April 25
• A 37-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 5100 block of East Parkway.
• Graffiti was spray painted on the outside of a building in the 5000 block of 32nd Street.
• Unauthorized charges were made to a credit card account.
• A 17-year-old male was arrested for intoxication assault with a vehicle and intoxicated manslaughter with a vehicle in the 3600 block of Cleveland.
Tuesday, April 26
• A 20-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication after officers were called to a fight in the 5000 block of Lincoln.
• Someone damaged a vehicle parked in the 5000 block of Gulf.
