Groves police reports for Jan. 24-29

The following incidents were reported to the Groves Police Department during the week:
Wednesday, Jan. 24
• A forged check was reported to have been passed at a business in the 6000 block of 39th Street.
• A 1995 Ford flatbed work truck with numerous tools was reported stolen from the parking lot of a business in the 5000 block of E. Parkway.
• A 38 year old female was arrested on outstanding parole violation warrants after officers received information that she was at a residence in the 7200 block of 32nd Street.
• A 26 year old male was arrested on charges of Driving While Intoxicated after officers responded to a traffic accident in the 3700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

Thursday, Jan. 25
• A 40 year old male was arrested on charges of Driving While Intoxicated/2nd Offense after officers responded to a traffic accident in the 3200 block of Hwy. 366.

Friday, Jan. 26
• A 32 year old male was arrested on charges of Unlawful Carrying Weapon after a traffic stop in the 5300 block of Monroe. The suspect was also found to have an outstanding Jefferson County warrant for Indecency with a Child.
• A 17 year old male victim reported being shot by unknown assailant(s) while walking in the 5200 block of 33rd Street.
• A 2002 Honda Accord was reported stolen from the driveway of a residence in the 2210 block of Berry after the owner had left the car running and unattended. The car was located abandoned a short time later.

Saturday, Jan. 27
• Paintballs were reported to have been shot at a 1998 Lincoln Navigator parked in the 4400 block of Gulf Avenue.
• A 40 year old male was arrested on outstanding Jefferson County warrants after a traffic stop in the 7200 block of 32nd Street.
• A 40 year old male was arrested on outstanding city warrants after officers responded to a disturbance call in the 2700 block of Royal.

Sunday, Jan. 28
• A 44 year old male was arrested on charges of Aggravated Assault of a Public Servant after striking an officer who responded to a disturbance call in the 7200 block of Howe.
• A 24 year old male was arrested on outstanding Nederland city warrants after a traffic stop in the 6400 block of 25th Street.
• A 22 year old male was arrested on outstanding Jefferson County warrants after a traffic stop in the 6000 block of 25th Street
• A 57 year old male was arrested on outstanding city warrants after a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Jefferson Drive.

Monday, Jan. 29
• A washer and dryer were reported stolen from a residence in the 2100 block of Perry.
• A backhoe tractor parked in the 6200 block of Washington was reported to have been vandalized.
• A 32 year old male was arrested on outstanding city warrants after a traffic stop in the 3900 block of Twin City Hwy.
