Free trees will be distributed by the Port Arthur Beautification Commission from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Pear Ridge Facility, 3542 Ninth Ave.
The event will be held on four consecutive Saturdays: Jan. 27, Feb. 3 and Feb. 10. Trees are provided through the Texas Forest Service, Trees for Houston and Chevron. Available species include Bald Cypress, Chinese Pistache, Green Ash, Live Oak, Sugarberry and Tulip Trees.
