Port Arthur police beat — April 7 to April 11

PORT ARTHUR — Wednesday, April 11

• A plastic bag containing a calendar and family photos, a pink Apple iPod and jacket were stolen from a 2005 Chevrolet Impala while in the 700 block of Ninth Street.

• All windows of an apartment at Louis Manor apartments were shattered.

Tuesday, April 10

• Two men, dressed in black and wearing masks and gloves, robbed In and Out Food Store. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun and struck a man who was seated inside the store near the arcade room. The victim was made to lie face down while the second suspect robbed the store of about $1,500.

• A 26-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were assaulted while at Cedar Ridge Apartments.

• A man was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon while in the 4100 block of Rachel Avenue.

• A woman’s wedding ring, valued at $3499, was stolen from the 4200 block of 75th Street.

Monday, April 9

• Two tires of a 1991 Chevrolet Blazer were slashed while in the 3900 block of Donald Street.

• A man was robbed of his wallet containing $340 in cash, a cell phone and clothing by two people at gunpoint while in the 1000 block of 10th Street.

• The office of Arthur Square Apartments was burglarized and a money order and undetermined amount of cash was stolen.

• The rear window of a 1995 Honda Accord was damaged while at Jack-in-the-Box, 2840 FM 365.

• Numerous articles of clothing were intentionally damaged by bleach at Cedar ridge Apartments.

• A home in the 4300 block of Big Bend was burglarized.

Sunday, April 8

• A man told police he was attempting to buy drugs at Arthur Square Apartments when another man stabbed him. The suspect ran westbound through the complex and the victim drove himself home where he called 9-1-1.

• A 1999 Honda Civic was scratched and windshield shattered while parked in the 5200 block of Landry.

• A woman was assaulted while in the 3400 block of Eighth Street.

Friday, April 7

• Two windows at Prince Hall Apartments were damaged.

• Two glass windows on a home in the 1000 block of Abe Lincoln Avenue were damaged.

• A flat screen TV was stolen from a 1999 Dodge Caravan while parked in the 3900 block of 30th Street.

• A building at Pabtex was burglarized of $6,000 worth of wiring.
