There is a rumor that the Rainbow Bridge and the Veterans Memorial Bridge are closed. That is false information. This verication has been confirmed through the Port Arthur E.O.C. and the Orange County E.O.C., Crystal Holkmes of the Jefferson County Emergency Management office reported at 9:30 a.m. Monday.
Apparently some state and national news and weather channels have erroneously reported the bridges were closed.
