Neches Federal Credit Union Update on Branch Openings
9/17/08 – Attention all Neches Federal Credit Union members. Operations at our 776 Magnolia Branch in Port Neches have resumed from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
We will resume at our 1955 Dowlen Branch in Beaumont on Thursday, September 18th beginning at 9 a.m.
ATM Services at 776 Magnolia and 1955 Dowlen are now fully operational.
Neches Federal Credit Union has implemented their disaster recovery plan to operate their main computer system and live call center out of their offsite location in Irving, Texas. Neches Federal Credit Union has resumed full operations and is open via the live call center from 8 am-5 p.m. and can be reached by dialing toll free at 1-800-851-5132.
All Neches FCU online services, mobile banking, and 3,400 branches are available for members across the nation.
Neches FCU can receive Direct Deposit/Payroll, and FEMA checks via ACH by using the routing number @ 313187636.
Furthermore, all loan payments are being deferred for 1 month excluding real estate and home equity loans.

Wachovia is waiving ATM fees for customers and non-customers alike, during the recovery from Hurricane Ike, to allow all Southeast Texas residents access to the cash they need.
On Thursday, Sept. 18, the following Wachovia financial centers will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Capital One Bank
Capital One Bank announced the reopening of four Golden Triangle locations branches that had been closed because of Hurricane Ike. The branches, which are open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., include:
• Beaumont Main office, 510 Park St.
• Dowlen Drive-Up, 3950 N. Dowlen Road
• Northway, 3738 N. 16th St.
• Vidor, 1255 Main St.
Capital One Bank’s decisions regarding closing and reopening of branches are based on the safety of bank associates and customers, electrical power availability, weather and road conditions, and staffing considerations.

Compass Bank
Compass Bank announced that it has opened eight branches and five remote ATM machines in East Texas today. Compass personnel are working quickly to open additional branches and ATM machines, and updates will be provided as more reopen. In addition, Compass Bank is waiving all non-customer access fees to its ATMs in Houston, East Texas, Central Texas and San Antonio so that residents can gain immediate access to cash to meet their hurricane recovery needs. The waiver applies to all non-customers of Compass Bank, as Compass Bank does not charge its customers ATM access fees. This waiver does not apply to any fees the customer’s bank may charge. The ATM fees waiver will continue until further notice at all Compass Bank branches and ATM machines in the Houston area, East Texas and Central Texas, including San Antonio. It is important to note that ATMs require electrical power to operate. Further, in East Texas, Compass Bank is branded as BBVA Compass.
Additionally, all Compass Bank branches in San Antonio and Austin are collecting non-perishable items to aide in the relief effort.
