Registration for “Blue Roofs” is being conducted at 4401 Jimmy Johnson Blvd. at the Procter Street Baptist church.
The "Blue Roof" Program is available for homeowners who have damage to their roofs. The program is free and available through the Corps of Engineers. A location has been set up in front of the garden center of Lowes Home Improvement Center, 4120 Dowlen Rd and is now open. Homeowners can go there and register for the program to have a free blue tarp installed to cover their roof. Homeowners can also call 1-888-766-3258, take option 4, and register there for the program.
