— I would like to thank everyone that helped with my benefit on Feb. 6. It was wonderful to see many of my neighbors, classmates, church friends and people that I worked with over the years. It was humbling to Stephen and myself that each of you had put in so many hours, as well was donations, for my family. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. I gather strength from each of you through your prayers, cards, phone calls and e-mails. My parents and sisters would also like to thank everyone who has asked about me and came to the benefit. It proves what a wonderful community of people that are in the Golden Triangle. I am so proud to have lived here, and I still consider it my home. I thank you again for everything you do for me and my family.
I tell you the truth, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, move from here to there, and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you” (Matthew 17:20).
