The article by Chester Moore on Delta Waterfowl’s research was very interesting and shows why I only read The News for my outdoors coverage.
I got tired of reading other papers and only seeing stories about what rich people can go do in the outdoors. Moore’s stories are about things everyone can do and this story is a fine example. A lot of us duck hunters wonder what goes into making a hatch successful and this gave some really strong examples and I would like to thank The News for running it.
I urge all duck hunters out there to support groups like Delta Waterfowl and Ducks Unlimited to give them a way to help us duck hunters. The tradition of duck hunting is strong here in our area and we have to keep the ducks in the sky to keep it alive.
