PORT ARTHUR —
It has been almost two years since the transformation of our nation under the direction of President Obama who eloquently blew us away with his Ivy League intellect and his incredible communication skills unlike former President Bush.
We all blindly stomped to the polls. Those never voted, voted. Those that never picked up a newspaper, began to read. The whole country turned on the tube for the new transformation of our country.
The elected President awoke a sleeping giant in all of us. His interview with “Joe the Plumber” was evidence of his “left” agenda. President Obama never misrepresented himself. We Americans were slowly heading toward socialism by previous administrations, but it took this charismatic young president to bring this country to its knees. This was the awakening call our country desperately needed. All the skeletons were coming out of the closet.
Years from now we should thank President Obama for the “change,” reintroducing the constitution, the bill of rights and giving back to the values set forward by the founding fathers. Politically, we were naive on how the financial world operates: Freddie and Fannie, the stimulus and numerous bail outs that we never ever imagined could be possible with our hard earned tax dollars.
President Obama did bring a change, we all got fat and lazy and allowed others to alter the rules of the constitution. We allowed our politicians full control and so are our taxes. We Americans need to change, we need to vote, we need to become involved in our government. If not, we could lose everything and the American dream could be lost forever to our grandkids.
