Lee Elementary School held a Mardi Gras parade for the entire school. A Kind and Queen were named also. The Lee Elementary Band marched and played "When the Saints go Marching in." The Lee Accelerated Readers who attained their reading goal were allowed to participate in the parade. All students at Lee School, Pre-K through fifth grade, decorated and wore Mardi Gras masks. Mr. Rizvan Quadri, principal, gave kudos to the parade participants, as well as to the student audience.
