PORT ARTHUR — Precinct 8 Justice of the Peace Tom Gillam released the name of a man who was killed in a motorcycle wreck Sunday afternoon.
Kelby West, 19, of Beaumont, died after his motorcycle skidded off the roadway and struck a road sign about 4:02 p.m. March 7.
West was attempting to exit Texas 73 and merge onto U.S. 69 when he lost control of his motorcycle, according to a press release from Port Arthur Police Department.
