NEDERLAND —
The minimum revenue guarantee account for American Airlines is beginning to grow.
The fail-safe account, created by local governing entities to help lure the airline to Jack Brooks Regional Airport, received the green light earlier this week when Nederland Economic Development Corporation board members approved pitching in $75,000. The issue was approved 5 to 1 with board member Jim McNeil casting the dissenting vote.
