— A shelter in place order has been lifted following a sulfure dioxide leak in Port Neches. Officials with Calabrian Chemicals, 5500 Texas 366 in Port Neches, advised Port Neches Fire Department of a sulfur dioxide leak about 10:50 a.m Thursday. Police shut down roads surrounding the facility and all schools in Groves were aked ot shelter in place. The leak was contained about 11:20 a.m. and the shelter in place has been lifted, PN Firefighter Doug Bledsoe said. Check back with The News for more information.
