A Nederland man was arrested in connection to two area bank robberies.
Beaumont Police, with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service and Galveston Police arrested David Randall Terrell, 32, for the robberies. Officers located Terrell in Galveston.
Officers obtained a federal arrest warrant on Jan. 18 for Terrell for the Jan. 15 robbery of Mid-South bank, located at 1384 North Main in Vidor and the Jan. 18 robbery of the BBVA Compass Bank located at 2635 I-10 East in Beaumont.
Several law enforcement agencies were involved in the investigation of these bank robberies. Those agencies include the Beaumont Police Department, the Vidor Police Department, the Galveston Police Department, The Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the U.S. Marshals Service.
Cooperation between these local and federal agencies resulted in the swift removal of a dangerous felon from our streets, according to a press release from BPD.
