PORT ARTHUR —
Port Arthur Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a fugitive they consider armed and dangerous.
David Disomba, 21, also known as “Duddy,” is wanted for warrants for aggravated robbery, aggravated kidnapping and evading arrest with a motor vehicle, Officer Marcello Molfino said during a press conference on Tuesday at the police station. The robbery and kidnapping charges stem from incidents that occurred in April while the evading arrest charge stems from a September incident.
Disomba does not have a permanent address but does have family in Port Arthur. Police do not believe Disomba is staying with family. Molfino said if someone is found to be hiding or assisting Disomba they will face criminal charges.
If located, police warn the public not to approach Disomba as some of the charges he is facing involves firearms. Disomba has been on the run since April, he added.
“Fugitives are desperate and desperate people do desperate things,” he said.
Disomba is described as 5-foot 11-inches in height and about 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing his hair in braids but also wears his hair in an afro.
“He is known to frequent Port Arthur. If you see him our shopping or at the club pick up the phone and call us,” he said.
Beaumont Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of Disomba. You can submit a tip at 833-TIPS or you can call PAPD at 983-8600 or 983-8680.

“A person does not change their character overnight,” said Veazey, a retired Port Arthur Independent School District teacher. “We do not accept that she just walked into a room and started beating on a kid. Her students are her life. She wouldn’t do that.”
