PORT ARTHUR —
Jefferson County Precinct 2 workers have started this year’s road projects which include numerous rural byways as well as those within city limits.
Abut 10 to 12 road miles within the precinct are designated to either be completely or partially reconstructed, according to a press statement issued by the Precinct 2 office.
“Its a pretty ambitious list this year, so we are trying to get started while the weather is still good,” Brent Weaver, Precinct 2 commissioner, said.
