NEDERLAND —
Two local clue sleuths have claimed this year’s Nederland Heritage Festival’s treasure worth $300.
Brandon Shaw and Brant Graham located the treasure’s certificate at Doornbos Park on the white fence to the left of the main entrance.
Festival officials issued the following noontime extra clue which led the team to victory.
Look very close for my treasure is very small.
Watch for an entrance or you'll run into a wall.
The treasure's hiding spot is a place full of fun.
Relax, feed the ducks, or enjoy time in the sun.
The treasure hunt was co-sponsored by Melancon’s Funeral Home and the festival.
