BEAUMONT —
Brandon Michael Hebert, 19 of Fannett was identified Tuesday as the victim of a possible drowning Saturday evening on Craigen Road at Taylor Bayou in the Hamshire-Fannett area.
The Sheriff's Office received a 911 call at approximately 8 p.m. Saturday. Emergency responders from Labelle-Fannett VFD, Hamshire VFD, Acadian Ambulance Service and Jefferson County Sheriff's Office responded. Upon arrival they found the man, who was pronounced deceased by Justice of the Peace Judge Ray Chesson. The investigation is continuing awaiting the autopsy results and toxicology report.
