PORT ARTHUR —
The Rainbow Bridge was closed to traffic for about an hour on Wednesday as negotiators with the Port Arthur Police Department spoke with a possible suicidal person.
A PAPD official said the call came in about 11:30 a.m. May 16.
Negotiators were successful and a female was removed from the bridge.
The Veterans Memorial Bridge remained open during the incident.
