BEAUMONT, Texas (AP) - Prosecutors say a Southeast Texas man has pleaded guilty in a child pornography case involving about 11,000 images on his computer.
A federal judge in Beaumont on Wednesday accepted the plea from 37-year-old Shawn Suri. The Beaumont man pleaded guilty to possession of material involving the sexual exploitation of minors.
No sentencing date was immediately set for Suri, who faces up to 10 years in prison.
Investigators last September seized a laptop from Suri's home. The computer yielded the images and about 1,000 child porn videos.
