GROVES —
Renaissance Hospital, which is under new management, wants the community to come out and see the changes that have taken place in the past few months.
Employees are gearing up for a free community event to be held on the hospital grounds from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 19.
The event will feature free food, drinks and musical entertainment. Police cars, fire trucks and ambulances will be on site for children to view, and there will also be door prizes as well.
“We want to let the community know we are still here and we plan to be here a long time serving them,” Tiffany Aaron, human resource generalist for Renaissance Hospital, said.
The hospital is managed by Foundation Surgical Hospital Affiliates, an Oklahoma City, Okla. hospital management company. Woodrow “Woody” Moore, administrator with Foundation Surgical Hospital Affiliates, offered thanks to the community and city leaders for being patient and supportive of the community hospital during the transitional period.
“This is our way of saying thanks to the community for supporting us,” Moore said.
Aaron said the hospital plans to sponsor other community events in the future and to “expect more great things from Renaissance.”
