Monday, April 9
• Assault/family violence was reported in the 3800 block of Fifth Street.
• Recovery of possible stolen property was reported in the 700 block of Orange Avenue.
• Numerous items were stolen from a home in the 800 block of Ninth Street.
Tuesday, April 10
• State jail felony theft of metal was reported at Entergy Substation, 847 DeQueen Boulevard.
• Harassment was reported in the 4000 block of 13th Street.
Wednesday, April 11
• A person was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 1600 block of Procter Street. The suspect reportedly was in possession of PCP.
• A home was burglarized in the 100 block of Gifford Pond Lane.
• A person was arrested for possession of marijuana in a drug free zone in the 800 block of Lee Avenue. The suspect reportedly was found to be in possession of 2.62 grams of marijuana.
Thursday, April 12
• A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated with open container in the 2300 block of Texas 73 West after a traffic accident.
• Threats/family violence was reported at Wellington Manor Apartments, 1320 Ninth Ave.
• A fatality motor vehicle accident was reported in the 1900 block of Texas 73 West. The driver, who was traveling in the wrong direction, collided with an 18-wheeler head-on.
• Felony assault/family violence was reported in the 7200 block of Ninth Avenue.
• Telephone harassment was reported in the 2200 block of Wignall Avenue.
• Terroristic threat/family violence was reported at Jefferson Park Apartments, 1348 Jefferson Drive.
• Leaving the scene of an accident was reported in the 4900 block of Gulfway Drive.
• Assault was reported in the 3400 block of Thomas Boulevard.
Friday, April 13
• Aggravated robbery was reported at Cutie Nail and Hair, 3711 Twin City Highway.
• Criminal mischief was reported in the 2800 block of West 60th Street.
• A person was arrested for criminal mischief in the 1200 block of 18th Street. The suspect was also charged with failure to comply with sex offender registry.
• Assault was reported at Villa Main Apartments, 901 Main Ave.
• Aggravated assault with a motor vehicle was reported in the 1400 block of Trinity Avenue.
• Assault was reported at Tekoa Academy, 327 Thomas Blvd.
• A person was arrested for theft of metal at Port Iron, 300 West Seventh Street.
• Assault/family violence was reported at The Shire Apartments, 4220 FM 365.
• Criminal mischief was reported in the 5200 block of 14th Street. The victim told police that two juveniles were shooting at stop signs and shot a window of his residence.
• An IPhone, valued at $600, was stolen from a Ford Expedition in the 2900 block of 11th Street. The suspect gained entry by breaking a window in the SUV.
• Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported at Aamco Transmissions, 2740 Memorial Blvd.
• A person was arrested for possession of marijuana, .48 ounces, in the 3600 block of Sixth Street.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 100 block of West Ninth Street.
• A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated with open container in the 2800 block of Texas 82. The breath analysis for the suspect was reportedly 0.046. During the investigation, the officer learned the suspect had also been smoking PCP, according to the offense report.
• Aggravated assault was reported at BJ’s store, 1201 Seventh St. The victim suffered multiple facial fractures as well we possible brain injury.
• Three keys and a Mongoose Mountain bike were stolen from the 3300 block of 12th Street.
• Burglary of a building was reported at The Shoe Department, 4997 Twin City Hwy.
• A lowboy trailer was stolen from Eco Werks, 6200 Procter St.
• A person was arrested for criminal trespass at Southwood Crossing Apartments, 3901 Texas 73.
Saturday, April 14
• Assault/family violence was reported at The Shire Apartments, 4180 FM 365.
• An air compressor, framing gun, three hydraulic jacks and a table saw were stolen from a building in the 3700 block of 36th Street.
• Burglary of a building was reported at Port Arthur Recreation Center, 1308 Ninth Ave.
• A person was arrested for aggravated assault/family violence was reported in the 1400 block of West Fifth Street.
• State jail felony criminal mischief was reported in the 3900 block of Third Street.
• A person was arrested for criminal mischief/family violence at Villa Main Apartments, 901 Main Ave.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 1200 block of West Sixth Street.
• Criminal mischief was reported in the 3300 block of Second Avenue.
• State fail felony theft was reported in the 2700 block of 10th Street.
• A Toro self-propelled lawnmower and miscellaneous unknown tools were stolen from a building in the 900 block of 13th Street.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 3500 block of Thomas Boulevard.
• AN AC unit and unknown amount of metal or aluminum shower rails were stolen from a building in the 100 block of Gifford Pond Lane.
• A car stereo and GPS system were stolen from a 2001 Ford F-150 in the 2000 block of Woodrow Drive.
Sunday, April 15
• A PlayStation 3 and video game, Sony DVD player and $300 in cash were stolen from a home in the 2800 block of 10th Street.
• A brown leather jewelry box containing assorted jewelry was stolen from a home in the 4100 block of Rachel Drive.
• A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 2100 block of 58th Street.
• A person was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm at Carver Terrace Apartments, 1202 Carver Terrace.
• A Pioneer in-dash TV/DVD navigation system, three Q-Power 15-inch speakers in a wooden box and an AV Audio 3100 amplifier were stolen from a 2000 Chevrolet Impala at Southwood Crossing Apartments, 3901 Texas 73. The means of entry to the vehicle was through an open door.
• A 2011 Chevrolet Cruz was stolen from the 800 block of Rio Grande. The vehicle was left unlocked and the keys inside.
• State jail felony theft of an 18-foot homemade double axle utility trailer was reported in the 1900 block of Waco Avenue.
• Batteries were removed from a number of vehicles at Hector’s Automotive, 4300 Sheppard Avenue.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 3100 block of 26th Street.
• A person was arrested for felony assault/family violence/impeding breathing/circulation in the 400 block of Harding.
• Criminal mischief was reported at Louis Manor Apartments, 1300 Joe Louis.
• Assault/family violence/injury to a child was reported in the 700 block of Vicksburg Avenue.
• Criminal mischief was reported in the 800 block of West Gulfway Drive.
• A 40-inch Panasonic flat screen TV, 32-inch Samsung flat screen TV, Panasonic projector, Sony camcorder, Dell lap top computer, HP lap top computer and jewelry were stolen from a home in the 3500 block of Drexel.
• Assault/endangering a child was reported at Carver Terrace Apartments, 1100 Carver Terrace.
• A person was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 2500 block of Seventh Avenue.
Monday, April 16
• Burglary of a building was reported at Walgreens Pharmacy, 4930 Gulfway Drive. Police located at red handled ax at the scene as well as the possible suspect’s baseball cap which had multiple phone numbers on it.
• Harassment was reported in the 8600 block of Memorial Boulevard.
• Leaving the scene of an accident was reported in the 3600 block of Memorial Boulevard.
• Telephone harassment was reported in the 2700 block of 31st Street.
• A runaway was reported from The Shire Apartments, 4260 FM 365.
• Aggravated robbery was reported at Cedar Ridge Apartments, 7613 Ninth Ave.
• A person was arrested for evading arrest/detention with a motor vehicle in the 300 block of West Gulfway Drive.
• Theft of fuel was reported at The Clubhouse, 7911 North Twin City Hwy.
• Attempted burglary of a habitation was reported in the 200 block of 15th Street.
• A person was arrested for resisting transport in the 3600 block of Gates Boulevard.
• Forgery was reported in the 6100 block of Gulfway Drive.
• Burglary of a habitation was reported in the 300 block of 17th Street.
• Aggravated assault/family violence was reported in the 1700 block of Lakecrest Drive.
• Injury to a child was reported in the 3900 block of 26th Street.
