'Hit list' found at OHS

— A "hit list" was reportedly found in the boys' bathroom inside Orangefield High School on Tuesday.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office reported the incident on Friday.

An OHS administrator reported to deputies the list had several student's names on it and all the students on the list were interviewed by detectives.

Deputies were then able to locate the 16-year-old suspect who told reportedly told detectives he did the list as a prank and was not planning to follow through with the threats.

The student was suspended and charges are pending in the case.

The Sheriff's Office has been providing extra patrols and walking through all the schools in Orangefield during the following days to make sure all students are safe.
