BEAUMONT —
The trial of a Houston man charged with a deadly courthouse shooting will likely be moved to Galveston.
58th District Court Judge Bob Wortham will file the order on May 18 — 10 days from the Tuesday, May 8 hearing in order to allow both sides ample time to file any objections.
Bartholomew Granger, 41, was indicted in late March on one count of murder, three counts of attempted capital murder, one count of aggravated assault and four counts of aggravated kidnapping in relation to the March 14 shooting at the Jefferson County Courthouse.
