PORT NECHES —
Some building owners in Port Neches are stuck trying to remove spray paint from their buildings, while the Port Neches Police Department tracks down the culprit, or culprits.
The four locations receiving the unwanted decorations are Port Neches Park, The former Western Auto on the corner of Llano and Port Neches Ave., Southside Baptist Church and the Texaco in front of Market Basket in the 800 block of Magnolia.
The incident happened some time between midnight and 3 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, December 5, according to PN Police Chief Paul Lemoine.
The graffiti doesn’t appear to be gang related Lemoine said.
Officers are currently investigating the incident and reviewing security footage recovered from the scene of the vandalized property. Anyone with information regarding this incident can call Detective Fournet with the PNPD at (409) 719-4241.
