GROVES — Groves Police responded to the following calls from June 13 through June 19



Wednesday, June 13

• A counterfeit $20 bill was passed at a business in the 6900 block of 32nd Street.

• Someone burned two pieces of mail in the 3200 block of Woodlawn.

• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 3800 block of Main after it appeared that someone threw some type of lit firework inside the vehicle which exploded and caused the windshield to break.

• Counterfeit checks were cashed at a business in the 2600 block of Main.

• A forged check was passed in the 3900 block of East Parkway.

• A 49-year-old male was arrested for assault in the 3000 block of Oak.

 

Thursday, June 14

• A 36-year-old female was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 5100 block of East Parkway.

• A 24-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 6800 block of 32nd Street.

• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 4600 block of Boyd after a vehicle window was damaged by a BB gun.

• Forged checks were passed in the 6000 block of 39th Street.

 

Friday, June 15

• A city of Groves garbage can was stolen from the 4800 block of Bellaire.

• Unauthorized charges were made to a credit card account.

• A Honda generator, Stihl leaf blower, ZTR mower, Troy-Bilt push mower, air compressor and hedge clippers were stolen from a garage in the 7000 block of 39th Street.

• A 2007 Dutchess Lowboy trailer was stolen from the 4300 block of North Link.

 

Saturday, June 16

• A 48-year-old female was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 3000 block of East.

• A 34-year-old male was arrested for driving with license invalid in the 5000 block of 33rd Street.



Sunday, June 17

• An assault was reported in the 3100 block of East Parkway.

• Someone scratched a vehicle in the 3200 block of Walnut.

• A cell phone was stolen and later recovered in the 3100 block of East Parkway.

• An assault was reported in the 1900 block of Owens.

• An assault was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.

• Two persons were arrested for public intoxication and fail to identify in the 6300 block of Gulfway Drive.

• Cash was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 3100 block of East Parkway.

 

Monday, June 18

• A 23-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 2600 block of Maple.

• Telephone harassment was reported.

• The theft of $45 was reported in the 6100 block of 39th Street.

 

Tuesday, June 19

• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 3200 block of Woodlawn.

• A disturbance was reported in the 3000 block of Oak.
