Groves Police responded to the following calls from June 6 through June 12
Wednesday, June 6
• An assault was reported in the 1900 block of Owens.
• Unauthorized charges were made on a debit card account.
• A 37-year-old female was arrested for outstanding warrants in the 5000 block of East Parkway.
• Forged checks were passed at a business in the 6000 block of 39th Street.
• A telephone harassment report was made.
• A 36-year-old female was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 3900 block of Main Avenue.
Thursday, June 7
• Forgery of several checks, valued at more than $120, were used at local businesses without the consent of the account holder.
• Officers responded to a disturbance call in the 6900 block of Washington.
Friday, June 8
• A 9mm semi-automatic handgun was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 3100 block of Taft.
• A Titan generator was stolen from a storage unit in the 6100 block of Wynona.
Saturday, June 9
• A harassment report was made.
Sunday, June 10
• Two people were arrested for public intoxication in the 2500 block of East Parkway.
• Someone broke into a building and stole a Shur microphone.
Monday, June 11
• A Troy-Bilt self-propelled lawn mower was stolen from the 7100 block of Terrell.
• Cash was stolen from an apartment in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
• Two home made rocking chairs, a chair with a cow hide bottom, and two cast iron ornamental horse heads were stolen from the 5800 block of Hogaboom.
Tuesday, June 12
• Someone drove a vehicle causing damage to property in the 6800 block of Terrell.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 3800 block of Main Avenue.
• Two males wearing purple T-shirts attempted to break into a vehicle in the 5300 block of West Groves Circle.
• Gasoline was stolen from two vehicles in the 5300 block of W. Groves Circle.
