PORT ARTHUR — A Port Arthur man who was stabbed in the head during an argument is listed in critical condition.
Police were called to Prince Hall Apartments, 1421 Lincoln Ave., about 8:10 p.m. Tuesday, March 9 in reference to an aggravated assault.
Witnesses initially thought the suspect punched the victim in the head but later learned the man was stabbed near his right temple, PAPD Sgt. Scott Gaspard said.
The victim was unresponsive when officers arrived and transported to a hospital for treatment. The suspect fled the scene, he said.
Police believe they have a positive identification of the suspect.
