PORT ARTHUR —
The cause of death of a Vidor woman whose body was found on Pleasure Island last week remains unknown.
“At this time, the cause of death is unknown,” Port Arthur Police Maj. Raymond Clark said. “It will continued to be investigated as a homicide.”
Police were called to the North Levee Road at about 11:30 a.m. Dec. 7 in reference to a body floating in the water. Port Arthur Fire Department extracted the white female, later identified as Amber Nicole Guillory, 26, approximately three feet from the shore.
The woman was wearing pajama bottoms and a black and white hoodie top and jewelry and had tattoos.
