PORT ARTHUR —
A Port Arthur man was robbed at gunpoint last night while out walking with a friend.
The man called the Port Arthur Police Department on Sunday, October 14 at around 9:40 p.m. to say he had been robbed of some money and his cell phone, according a PAPD press release. While out walking with a friend in the 8600 block of Honeywood Trail, the victim was asked by the suspect if he could use his cell phone but then pulled out a pistol, demanding money.
Afterward the suspect fled on foot with the victim’s things.
