Pecan pageant
The Groves Chamber of Commerce & Tourist Center announces the Texas Pecan Queen's Scholarship Pageant will be on Saturday, Sept. 12, instead of Sept. 11, as printed on pageant tickets. The event will be at the Port Neches-Groves High School Auditorium at 7 p.m. For information, call 962-3631.
Fashions in a nutshell
The Courtyard Cafe, The Collection, Groves Chamber of Commerce and the Nail Cottage have tickets for Gulf Coast Sertoma Club’s Fashions in a Nutshell style show, with fashions from Dillard’s. The show will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, at The Courtyard, Lincoln Ave., Groves.
