Establishing better working relationships with the city, making staff changes and asking voters to allow sales tax revenue to be spent on infrastructure improvements within the city of Port Arthur were among recommendations made Tuesday during a special presentation of The Mercer Report.
Port Arthur’s Economic Development Corporation received an overall good report card Monday, with room for improvement, when Jim Mercer, president of The Mercer Group, detailed the group’s strengths and weaknesses.
“I think you have a good organization. There are some things that could make it better,” Mercer said.
