Sunday, May 27
• Assault by strangulation/family violence was reported in the 900 block of Atlanta.
• A person was arrested for public intoxicated at Rampart Apartments, 1728 Village East.
• A home in the 4500 block of 13th Street was burglarized.
• Assault/family violence was reported in the 4800 block of Seventh Street.
• Two lamps, two wall pictures and a 42-inch flat screen TV were stolen from Best Inn, 7440 Memorial Blvd.
Monday, May 28
• Criminal trespass was reported at Crawdad’s, 2440 W. FM 365.
• A person was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, crack cocaine, in the 1300 block of Woodworth.
• Burglary of a building was reported at Best Recovery Health Care, 509 Ninth Ave.
• Burglary of a habitation was reported at Stonegate Manor, 4133 Turtle Creek Drive.
• A firearm was found in a ditch in the 1100 block of Delaware Avenue.
Tuesday, May 29
• A colt semi-automatic gun with Wilson Combat magazine and six .45 bullets, previously listed a stolen out of Orange County, was recovered in the 5200 block of 14th Street.
• Five hundred dollars in cash was stolen from a home in the 3800 block of Lansing.
• Eight electrical socket outlets, stainless steel kitchen sink, copper tubing from a water heater and bathtub faucets were stolen from a home in the 1100 block of Gulfway Drive.
• A computer, laptop computer, TV ,headphones and Nintendo DS were stolen from a home in the 900 block of West Sixth Street.
• Indecency with a child was reported.
• Cruelty to non-live stock animals was reported at Heatherbrook Apartments, 8008 Heatherbrook Trail.
• Theft of check was reported at Subway, 2440 FM 365.
• Injury to a child was reported at Louis Manor Apartments, 1300 Joe Louis Ave.
• Reckless damage was reported at Shell Gas Station, 2549 Memorial Blvd. after a customer forgot to take the gas nozzle out of his gas tank before driving off.
• A tool bag containing hand tools, valued at $150; Gander Mountain fishing bag with various crimping tools, valued at $300; and a black Pelican box containing an RF meter, valued at $800, was stolen from a 2007 Ford 150 truck at Kay Electronics, 3149 Gulfway Drive.
• A home in the 4800 block of Seventh Street was burglarized. A suspect was later taken into custody and the items recovered.
• Various camera batteries, memory cards, a Kodak Sport Waterproof Point and Shoot video camera, iPhone car charger and miscellaneous papers were stolen from a vehicle at Fire Station No. 6, 4448 Ninth Ave.
• Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was reported at Prince Hall Apartments, 914 W. 14th St.
Wednesday, May 30
• Attempted burglary of a habitation was reported in the 500 block of Neches Avenue after a person attempted to kick-in the rear door of a home.
• A 50-inch LG TV, 32-inch Toshiba TV and a blue ray DVD player were stolen from a home in the 2300 block of Second Avenue.
• Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was reported in the 2800 block of Sixth Street.
• An unknown amount of kitchen flatware, woman’s jewelry, change, HP Pavilion G6 laptop and a Dll laptop were stolen from a home in the 3900 block of Lakeshore Drive.
• Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was reported at Stop & Drive No. 7, 2500 Gulfway Drive.
• An Acer Aspire netbook, valued at $246, was stolen from a home in the 3100 block of 18th Street.
• Two people were arrested for the theft of numerous items at Walmart, 8585 Memorial Blvd., including: An above-ground swimming pool, an AQ broom, two 6-packs of beer, two 30-packs of beer, two plungers, Drano MX and a Fun Chair.
• A person was arrested for failure to identify fugitive from justice in the 1600 block of Sixth Avenue. The person also had an outstanding motion to revoke probation warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
Thursday, May 31
• A home made lowboy trailer was stolen from a home in the 1300 block of Augusta Avenue.
• A person was arrested for possession of marijuana — 28.12 grams, in the 3000 block of 39th Street.
• A .38 caliber revolver and an HP laptop computer were stolen from a home in the 700 block of Thomas Boulevard.
• A person was arrested for delivery of a controlled substance at Speedy stop, 600 W. Gulfway Drive.
• A person was arrested for possession of a controlled substance — crack cocaine, in the 400 block of 12th Avenue.
Friday, June 1
• A person was arrested for failure to identify/giving false or fictitious name at The Shire Apartments, 4000 block of FM 365.
• Assault/family violence was reported in the 700 block of Dewalt Avenue.
• A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 7700 block of Ninth Avenue.
• Terroristic threat/family violence was reported in the 4100 block of Atlantic Road.
• A person was arrested for evading arrest/detention at BJ’s convenience store, 1201 Seventh St.
• Assault/family violence was reported in the 2400 block of 65th Street.
• A laptop computer, credit cards, jewelry and $1,250 in cash were stolen from a home in the 3400 block of Fifth Street. The suspect gained entry by removing an air conditioner thus damaging the unit.
• A 13-year-old girl reportedly ran away from home and stole her a 2002 Ford Expedition at Lakeview Palms Apartments, 5200 Gulfway Drive.
• Felony criminal mischief was reported at a home in the 900 block of West 15th Street.
• A large window, valued at approximately $1,200, was damaged at a home in the 4500 block of 25th Street.
• Assault/family violence was reported in the 2600 block of 66th Street.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported at Rancho Grande Bar and Grill, 7670 Memorial Blvd.
• A 52-inch TV, surround system receiver, two laptop computers, a white Xbox 360 with two controllers, numerous DVD’s and video games, clothes and colognes were stolen from a building in the 3100 block of 27th Street.
• A 2007 Chevrolet Silverado was stolen from Days Inn, 8040 Memorial Blvd.
• Terroristic threat/family violence was reported in the 3300 block of 12th Street.
• A person was arrested for DWI/third or more offense in the 1600 block of Third Avenue.
• A person was arrested for evading arrest/detention and criminal trespassing at Port Arthur Town Homes, 3500 Turtle Creek Drive.
• Assault/family violence was reported at Stonegate Manor Apartments, 4123 Turtle Creek Drive.
• A person was arrested for theft at Walmart, 8585 Memorial Blvd.
• Assault/family violence was reported at Farnham Park Apartments, 3333 Turtle Creek Drive.
• Criminal mischief was reported at the Boudain Hut, 5714 Gulfway Drive.
• A person was arrested for criminal trespassing at Port Arthur Town Homes, 3500 Turtle Creek Drive.
• A 2001 Honda CBR motorcycle was stolen from the 2900 block of 27th Street.
Saturday, June 2
• A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 800 block of Houston Avenue.
• Assault/family violence/impeding breathing was reported at Rampart Apartments, 1712 Village East Boulevard.
• Vehicle keys and hair extensions were stolen from a vehicle at Magana’s Food Mart, 3825 Gulfway Drive during an altercation between a woman and her ex-boyfriend.
• A vehicle was burglarized at Drago’s, 1900 Ninth Ave.
• Assault/family violence was reported at Southwood Crossing Apartments, 3901 Texas 73.
• A person was arrested for terroristic threat/family violence at the Port Arthur Public Library, 3601 Cultural Center Drive.
• A person was arrested for the theft of a Hyper 400 Bicycle, valued at $126.61, at Walmart, 8585 Memorial Blvd.
• A detachable face from a car radio and between $40 to $50 in change was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 3100 block of 13th Street.
• A woman’s diamond ring, valued at $600; woman’s diamond ring, valued at $1,200; maroon Gabriel Funeral Home bag containing two men’s diamond rings, valued at $3,600; gold men’s Seiko watch, valued at $400; Sony portable stereo/CD player, valued at $75; and a red Liz Claiborne suitcase, valued at $100, were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1600 block of 15th Street.
• A Playstation 3 game system was stolen from the 3100 block of 12th Street. The game system was later located at a pawn shop and a hold was placed on the item pending further investigation.
• An Xbox 360 120GB with Kinect and two controllers, valued at $500; Sony Playstation 3 with two controllers, valued at $300; and numbers games for both systems, total value $1,880, was stolen from a residence at The Shire Apartments, 4200 FM 365.
Sunday, June 3
• A person was arrested for DWI/open container in the 3600 block of Ninth Avenue.
• Assault/family violence was reported at Cedar Ridge Apartments, 7615 Ninth Ave.
• The title to a vehicle and a pool cue were stolen from a unlocked vehicle in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
• A person was arrested for criminal trespass/habitation in the 800 block of 17th Street.
• A person was arrested for injury to child/elderly/disabled with intent of bodily injury at Walmart, 8585 Memorial Blvd.
• Miscellaneous clothing was stolen from Walmart, 8585 Memorial Boulevard.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported at The Rock Church, 620 Woodworth Blvd.
Monday, June 4
• A person was arrested for DWI in the 5000 block of Memorial Boulevard.
• Burglary with intent to commit assault was reported in the 2300 block of 10th Street.
• A 2005 Honda Accord, previously reported as stolen, was recovered at The Chill Spot, 6266 Gulfway Drive.
• A person, being placed under arrest for public intoxication at the Jefferson County Correctional Facility, was found to be in possession of approximately seven yellow pills and pieces and five green pills and pieces.
• A laptop, two pairs of men’s shoes and a men’s gold chain were stolen from a home in the 2500 block of 17th Street. The suspect gained entry to the home through an unlocked bedroom window.
• Evading arrest detention was reported in the 1200 block of Clifford Avenue.
• A person was arrested for failure to identify fugitive from justice/possession of a controlled substance in the 700 block of El Paso Avenue. The suspect was reportedly found to be in possession of a clear plastic baggie containing 10 hydrocodone pills and another baggie containing 1.95 grams of marijuana.
• Debit card abuse was reported at the Rose House, 8214 Anchor Drive.
• A 2000 Ford Expedition, with the doors left unlocked and the keys in the ignition, was stolen from the 3500 block of Sixth Street.
• Someone shot a green feather arrow into a vinyl car port cover in the 2500 block of 67th Street.
• A red Skilsaw nail gun, yellow Dewalt sawzall and small black Craftsman rotating table saw were stolen from a building in the 4100 block of 42nd Street.
• Assault/family violence was reported in the 3300 block of 12th Street.
• Indecency with a child was reported in the 3600 block of Gulfway Drive after a man reportedly exposed his genitals to a child.
• A person was arrested for possession of marijuana — .99 grams — in the 2700 block of Memorial Boulevard.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported at HEB, 4800 FM 365.
• Assault was reported at Fuel Depot, 700 W. Gulfway Drive.
• Criminal trespass was reported in the 8200 block of Heatherbrook Trail.
• Assault was reported at The Shire Apartments, 4140 FM 365.
• An Apple iPod, Apple iPad, laptop computer and unknown amount of prescription medication was stolen from a home in the 6100 block of Willow.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 1300 block of West Procter Street.
Tuesday, June 5
• Burglary of a habitation was reported at Carver Terrace Apartments, 1212 Carver Terrace.
• Deadly conduct was reported after someone shot two bullets into a 2012 Chevrolet Transverse at Valley View Apartments, 5801 Twin City Hwy.
• A laptop computer, iPad, computer and two Ugly stick brand rod with reels were stolen from a home in the 3700 block of Fourth Street.
• A 2000 Ford automatic transmission, two white cast iron chairs, a cast iron table, cast iron bench and approximately six potted plants were stolen from a home in the 6000 block of Mauve Avenue.
• A person was arrested for possession of a controlled substance — .59 grams of crack cocaine — in the 3400 block of Procter Street. The suspect was initially found to be in the drivers seat of a vehicle that was stopped in the middle of the roadway blocking traffic.
• Two adults and a juvenile were arrested for theft at Walmart, 8585 Memorial Blvd. One of the adults had two previous convictions. The stolen/recovered items had a wholesale value of $142.06.
• Attempted burglary of a building was reported at Lane’s Lounge, 720 Texas Ave.
• Approximately $200 in cash and eight “Roulette” Texas lottery ticket s valued at $50 each were stolen from Fuel Depot, 700 W. Gulfway Drive.
