A club owner and another bystander were shot at 1:09 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31 at Ceja’s Club, 6630 Gulfway when two Hispanic suspects opened fire striking the two victims.
The victims were transported to St. Mary’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
When police arrived at the scene, officers learned that two Hispanic males had been involved in an altercation. The suspect brandished a handgun and fired a round that struck the club owner and another male attempting to separate the subjects.

Tall, dark and handcuffed; Robber caught in Beaumont
A man suspected in the robbery of two Beaumont banks was apprehended outside Parkdale Mall on Wednesday.
The “tall, dark, handsome” robber is facing federal bank robbery charges for the Beaumont incidents and the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Houston is in the process of obtaining a warrant for a Houston bank robbery.
The suspect has been identified as John “Steven” Stark, 46.
Police responded to a call of a robbery about 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8 at Prosperity Bank, 6150 Eastex Freeway in Beaumont. -
