The National Weather Service in Lake Charles, La., is getting reports of snow in Beaumont, Lumberton, Kountze and Jasper.
Kent Kuyper, senior forecaster, said at 2:30 p.m. Friday, that Port Arthur residents should be very close to seeing snow.
First Friday in Groves has cancelled Friday activities because of the forecast.
