Port Arthur Police responded to the following calls from Feb. 18 through Feb. 24
Monday, Feb. 18
• A large wooden tool box with an assorted amount of hand tools, valued between $800 to $1,000, a Makita skil saw, valued between $200 to $250, Dewalt chop saw, valued at approximately $400, were stolen from a vehicle in the 5900 block of Texas Avenue.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 2000 block of Las Palmas.
• A HP PC Notebook was stolen from a vehicle in the 1700 block of East 15th Street.
• A purse was stolen from a vehicle at the YMCA, 6760 Ninth Ave.
• A person driving a white Honda Accord left the roadway and struck an Entergy pole, leaving the scene and the vehicle behind in the 1200 block of Sabine Avenue.
• A 2004 BMW was stolen from Central Mall, 3100 FM 365.
• A Verizon Galaxy 3 cell phone was stolen from Comfort Inn Suites, 7800 Memorial Blvd.
• Assault/family violence was reported in the 5100 block of 10th Street.
Tuesday, Feb. 19
• All four wheels and tires were stolen from a vehicle at Triplex Auto Exporters, 2903 19th St.
• A purse was stolen from a shopping cart at Walmart, 8585 Memorial Blvd.
• A juvenile was taken into custody for assault/family violence in the 2600 block of 62nd Street.
• A person detained for theft at JCPenney, 3100 FM 365, was arrested for failure to identify/give false/fictitious information.
• Assault/family violence was reported in the 1500 block of Brinkman Drive.
• A person was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in he 1300 block of Marshall Avenue. The suspect reportedly was in possession of four Lorcet pills and two-and-a-half Seroquel pills.
• A Fender guitar, 2-counter blade saw, Dewalt 18-volt reciprocating saw, Dewalt cordless rill, canvas tool bag containing miscellaneous bits, chisels and tools and a Dewalt 18-volt battery charger were stolen from a vehicle in the 4600 block of Lakeshore Drive.
• A Ryobi weedeater, Craftsman push lawnmower, Craftsman tool chest with tools and several end tables were stolen from a storage unit at A&A Allspace, 2641 FM 365.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in Central Mall parking lot, 3100 FM 365 near Dillard’s.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in Central Mall parking lot, 3100 FM 365 near Dillard’s.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported at Rampart Apartments, 1600 block of Village East Boulevard.
• A 32 GB iPad with carbon fiber case, valued at $700, and a refinery radio with microphone were stolen from a vehicle at Max Bowl, 3500 Regional Drive.
• Theft was reported in the 3000 block of 18th Street after a person reportedly paid an individual for a vehicle in cash but did not release the vehicle to the victim.
Wednesday, Feb. 20
• A person was assaulted by a person allegedly asking for cigarettes outside Dollar General in Jefferson City Shopping Center, 3300 Twin City Hwy.
• A person was arrested for criminal trespass at Cedar Ridge Apartments, 7625 Ninth Ave.
• A purse was stolen from a person at Walmart, 8585 Memorial Blvd.
• An Apple iPad, valued at $600, Toshiba laptop, valued at $1,000, assorted men’s clothing and hats, valued at $1,000 and pair of Nike men’s shoes, valued at $180, were stolen from a home in the 7600 block of Oakmont Avenue.
Thursday, Feb. 21
• Several cartons of cigarettes were stolen from Eskimo Hut, 5360 Twin City Hwy.
• Prescription medication, reading glasses, sunglasses, work gloves, miniature jumper cables and cologne were stolen from a vehicle at Max Bowl, 3500 Regional Drive. Employees of the business tried to detain the suspect but he ran. The suspect and the items were located a short time later in the 8800 block of Ninth Avenue.
• Burglary of a building was reported in the 2000 block of Gulfway Drive. The incident occurred some time between Jan. 30 and Feb. 21.
• Assault/family violence was reported in the 900 block of Atlanta.
• A 1998 Chevrolet Silverado was stolen from Jefferson City Shopping Center, 3600 Twin City Hwy.
• Jewelry valued at $1,725 was stolen from the 1600 block of Poole Avenue.
• Two Time Warner cable boxes were stolen from a home in the 1500 block of West Procter Street.
• Credit card abuse and burglary of a vehicle were reported in the 3300 block of Roshan Court.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 3700 block of Memorial Boulevard.
Friday, Feb. 22
• A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 6800 block of Texas 87.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 5300 block of Lewis Drive.
• Assault/family violence was reported in the 3800 block of Fourth Street.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 3300 block of 26th Street.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 3700 block of Memorial Boulevard.
• A 2004 Honda 4-wheeler was stolen from a building in the 800 block of Jefferson Drive.
• Criminal mischief was reported in the 900 block of Delaware Avenue.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 3700 block of Avalon.
• Burglary of a habitation was reported in the 3600 block of Catalina Court.
• An assault was reported in the 600 block of El Paso Avenue.
• Burglary of a habitation was reported in the 500 block of H.O. Mills.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 3900 block of 27th Street.
• A person was arrested for the theft of a tan infant’s coat, two shirts, a pair of 501 Levi jeans, a yellow par of Levi jeans and a camouflage bomber vest from Dillard’s.
• A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 3600 block of Texas 87.
• A cell phone and GPS were stolen from a vehicle at Good Times bar, 3801 Texas 73.
Saturday, Feb. 23
• A person was arrested for assault/family violence/impeding breath circulation in the 1300 block of James Avenue.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 3600 block of Avalon.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 3400 block of 32nd Street.
• Assault/family violence was reported in the 1000 block of 18th Street.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 3000 block of Las Palmas.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 6000 block of 16th Street.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 3400 block of Woodrow Avenue.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 5300 block of Lakeshore Drive.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 4000 block of Dryden Road.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 1900 block of Oak Avenue.

• Assault was reported in the 1200 block of 18th Street.
• A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 2200 block of Ninth Street. The suspects breath specimen was more than 0.15.
• Assault/family violence was reported in the 400 block of Neches Avenue.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 800 block of West 14th Street.
Sunday, Feb. 24
• Criminal mischief was reported in the 7600 block of Ninth Avenue.
• Terroristic threat was reported in the 700 bloc of Nashville Avenue.
• A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 9900 block of Texas 87.
• Criminal mischief was reported at Carver Terrace Apartments, 1134 Carver Terrace.
• A safe was stolen and later recovered from LaCantina Restaurant, 7960 Memorial Blvd.
• A fatality motor vehicle accident was reported at Ray Avenue and Texas 73.
• Terroristic threat was reported at H&R Block, 8845 Memorial Blvd.
• A laptop computer was stolen from a vehicle in the 4500 block of Bethany.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 3800 block of Amherst Avenue.
• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 4400 bloc of Forest Avenue.
• A person was arrested for criminal trespass at Joe’s Speedy Mart, 600 W. Gulfway Drive.
