NEDERLAND — Nederland Police responded to the following calls from Feb. 11 through Feb. 24



Monday, Feb. 11

• A sergeant assisted another agency in the 100 block of Seventh Street.

• Criminal mischief was reported in the 2100 block of Avenue F.

• Forgery was reported in the 2200 block of Nederland Avenue. The officer also arrested a person on another agency’s warrants.

• Criminal mischief was reported in the 200 block of Sixth Street.



Tuesday, Feb. 12

• A theft was reported in the 1300 block of Boston Avenue.

• Criminal trespass and an assault offensive touch were reported in the 1200 block of Luling.

• Burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 3500 block of Nederland Avenue.

• An information report was made at 1400 Boston Avenue.

• An animal bite was reported in the 8700 block of Holmes Road.

• Aggravated assault/family violence was reported in the 1900 block of Avenue H.

• Aggravated assault/family violence was reported in the 1300 block of South 13th Street.



Wednesday, Feb. 13

• A person was taken into custody on a mental commitment in the 500 block of South 13th Street.

• Identity theft was reported in the 500 block of Boston Avenue.

• Forgery of financial instrument was reported in the 2200 block of Nederland Avenue.



Thursday, Feb. 14

• Found property was reported in the 3100 block of Avenue G.

• Identity theft was reported in the 1500 block of South 27th Street.

• Burglary of a habitation was reported in the 2100 block of Avenue L.

                                                                                                     

Friday, Feb. 15

• Telephone harassment was reported in the 200 block of South 17th Street.

• A person was taken into custody on a mental commitment in the 2300 block of Detroit Avenue.

• An assault was reported in the 500 block of Nederland Avenue.

• Cruelty to animals was reported in the 8000 block of Green Avenue.



Saturday, Feb. 16

• A suspicious death was reported in the 3000 block of Avenue G.

• An assault was reported in the 2300 block of Avenue C.

• Criminal mischief was reported in the 1300 block of North Twin City Highway.

• A person was arrested for public intoxication in the 1300 block of North U.S. 69.

• A person was taken into custody for public intoxication in the 1000 block of Avenue B.



Sunday, Feb. 17

• A person was taken into custody on another agency’s warrants at Jackson and Twin City Highway.

• Burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 1800 block of Nederland Avenue.

• Found property was reported in the 1700 block of Helena Avenue.

• An assault was reported in the 2600 block of Memphis Avenue.



Monday, Feb. 18

• A terroristic threat was reported in the 500 block of Nederland Avenue.

• Criminal mischief was reported in the 2100 block of Avenue D.

• An assault was reported in the 200 block of 17th Street.



Tuesday, Feb. 19

• Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported in the 900 block of North 22nd Street.

• An information report was made at 1400 Boston Avenue.

• A person was arrested on another agency’s warrants in the 2000 block of Atlanta Avenue.

• Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported in the 100 block of South Memorial Boulevard.



Wednesday, Feb. 20

• A person was arrested for public intoxication in the 1500 block of South 29th Street.

• A runaway was reported in the 200 block of Hill Terrace. The person was later located.

• A person was arrested on another agency’s warrants in the 500 block of South 28th Street.

• Criminal mischief was reported in the 3600 block of Franklin.

• Two people were arrested on another agency’s warrants and one person for Nederland warrants in the 2300 block of Avenue H.

• A person was found to be in possession of marijuana at 25th and Avenue G.



Thursday, Feb. 21

• A theft and an assault/family violence were reported in the 100 block of Nederland Avenue.

• Criminal mischief was reported in the 600 block of South 15th Street.

• A theft was reported in the 100 block of Atlanta Avenue.

• A theft was reported in the 1000 block of Boston Avenue.

• A runaway was reported in the 200 block of Hill Terrace. The person was later located.

• Credit card or debit card abuse was reported in the 300 block of North 37th Street.

• Found property was reported in the 3100 block of FM 365.

• A person was arrested on another agency’s warrants at Hill Terrace and Avenue L.

• A person was arrested on another agency’s warrants in the 2000 block of Avenue C.

• Assault/family violence was reported in the 1100 block of North 22nd Street.

• A theft was reported in the 2600 block of Avenue D.



Saturday, Feb. 23

• An assault was reported in the 1200 block of Luling Avenue.

• Assault/family violence was reported in the 1900 block of Avenue G.

• A robbery was reported in the 200 block of North U.S. 69.



Sunday, Feb. 24

• Burglary of a habitation was reported in the 700 block of North 33rd Street.
