A FEMA - Disaster Recovery Center is currently set up for Nederland, Port Neches, and Groves residents at 1006 Port Neches Ave. at the Wright Building.
The hours for the DRC is 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Public parking is available in the rear of the old bank building directly across the street from the Wright building. Access to parking can be gained from Nall Street (Hwy 365).
Officials urge citizens to take caution while in downtown Port Neches due to construction in progress at the Wright Building and in the area from Hurricane Ike.

Tall, dark and handcuffed; Robber caught in Beaumont
A man suspected in the robbery of two Beaumont banks was apprehended outside Parkdale Mall on Wednesday.
The “tall, dark, handsome” robber is facing federal bank robbery charges for the Beaumont incidents and the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Houston is in the process of obtaining a warrant for a Houston bank robbery.
The suspect has been identified as John “Steven” Stark, 46.
Police responded to a call of a robbery about 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8 at Prosperity Bank, 6150 Eastex Freeway in Beaumont. -
