NEDERLAND — NEDERLAND — Eric Wright, owner of Mail it Wright Postal and Shipping Center — a family owned and operated business in Nederland, said his business offers many of the same kind of products and services as the U.S. Postal Service and some things they can’t offer.
“We opened last December — 10 months ago,” Wright said. “We’re a mail room and we do shipping and packing. I have 14 years with the U.S. Post Office prior to this (opening a business). We offer the same things, and more often and we’ll do it with a smile. Our customers prefer coming here — it’s more personal. There’s no long lines and more one-on-one service.
We have a hometown business-feel. Customers tell us it’s “So warm” and they want to be here. The atmosphere is more relaxed. We have variety here. We meet a demand on time and it’s all guaranteed.”
Wright, his wife and co-owner Deleta, and three children live in Mid-County.
